The fact you are shipping a "minimum" version of your product does not mean it should be mid or unusable by your users.
I love the simplification of MVP that you did. I think the early release of MVP without it being viable is also a psychological issue. The adrenaline rush while building it gets to us, it pushes us to premature release.
